Jessica Malanaphy, founding Partner of CatchLight Studios, works closely with filmmakers to tell commercial, character-driven stories for both film and television.

Jessica is the producer of the films LOOK BOTH WAYS for Netflix, THE DEVIL’S LIGHT for Lionsgate and THE PRESENT for Gravitas as well as DreamWorks Animation's upcoming GABBY'S DOLLHOUSE movie.

As Vice President of Creative at Illumination Entertainment, one of the entertainment industry's leading producers of all-audience event films, Jessica developed animated and live-action feature films, including THE GRINCH as well as SECRET LIFE OF PETS and THE MINIONS.

Prior to Illumination, Jessica served as Vice President at Blumhouse Productions, pioneering a new model of studio filmmaking - producing high-quality, micro-budget films for wide release. During her tenure, Jessica oversaw a variety of the company's projects from development through production including the SINISTER, PURGE, OUIJA and INSIDIOUS franchises. Jessica worked closely with filmmakers including Jon Chu, James Wan, Leigh Whannell, Barry Levinson, Scott Derrickson and Rob Zombie.
